THE STORY SO FAR
Timothy Bernard Cooney — Tim — is the founder of SunTurtle Studios® and a lifelong storyteller. His work spans six decades, from early recordings and photographs to the memoir, paintings, and music of The Journeyman Project.
After a long career in financial services, Tim returned fully to the arts, using creativity to rebuild, reconnect, and seek truth through beauty and grit.
His flagship body of work, The Journeyman Project, brings together memoir, music, and visual art as one integrated story of family, loss, love, and reinvention — anchored by Taking the Helm: Compass and Tides and the companion soundtrack The Journeyman.
His mission is simple: to make work that helps people feel seen, and to prove — through art — that it's never too late to begin again.
